Great place to visit...they have delicious fruit wines and cider...also a full bar. The Thai food is to die for. Everything made fresh daily. What Bruce Bradley doesn't like about Hawkins Farm Cellars:
Our motor home broke down right in front of HFC and we were welcomed to stay the night in the lot awaiting a tow. We had both lunch and dinner in the Thai restaurant and the food was delicious. So much so I had the Tom Yum soup each time as it?s amongthe best I?ve had. We also enjoyed the wine tasting while we were there. Hands down, this is my favorite place to stop while in Traverse City! We are treated like family every time we come through the door and everyone behind the counter is so sweet and helpful. The ice wine is AMAZING! We never leave without a bottle. Other favorites are Peach Honey, Centennial Red, and Free Range Red. But you really can't go wrong with anything there. I definitely recommend checking Hawkins Farm out... and don't forget to try the ice wine! :
Always a wonderful time whenever you stop. Rich Salve are like family. Salve is a gifted chef who makes the most yummy dishes! Do yourself a favour and stop by!
