Contribute FeedbackFat Crab has sparked a whirlwind of opinions among seafood enthusiasts. Diners relish the fresh, flavorful offerings like the lobster festival, where messy, hands-on eating creates a fun atmosphere. However, expectations can quickly slide due to small portions and exorbitant prices. Some guests faced logistical hiccups, including lost reservations and mediocre service, leading to dissatisfaction. While the dining experience promises excitement for seafood lovers with its unique approach, visitors are also advised to book ahead, prepare for a casual vibe, and be cautious with choices to ensure a fulfilling meal without regrets.
What's going on? These five stars are because I believe in second chances. this review was written days after my visit, because I was outraged after my visit. my girlfriend best summarizes the visit “if this was a first date, delete my number”. So I will evaluate individual problems of 0/10 and then deliver a description. customer service 1/10 the greeting was not an existent. the waitress was not trained at all, we asked minimal information she didn't know. Utensils/condiments have not been provided up to late but if they ever eaten crab on a hungry like without serviettes, it will be really fast chaotic. food 6/10 we ordered a large selection of items from the menu. the garnels were beautiful. the fried oysters were nice. the quality of the lobster ruined the meal, tasted like an island frozen lobster
A scary meal in the pockets and on the tablecloths with lots of serviettes. no knife or fork made available, but they could ask for a if necessary. genuine good eating blue mica crab in the garlic butter sauce medium hot. half pound garnel in lemon pfeffersoße medium hot (our favorit of the two,) a side of mais and a handful of whistle where in this bag too. a bowl with kajunfries. the service was really good with a lady who was on the go even with a full house!
Nice restaurant, friendly staff, and eating was nice but small portions, but that is ok it is seafood
Recommend the experience of some beautiful seafood and get her hands chaotic. we had the lobster festival for two and was nice a crowd. the lobster was tasty and chips were crispy. tipps: -proposal for booking before arrival; venue is cozy. - do not wear white heats (there is coverage, although as a precaution). - free parking: there are roads either side of restaurants and shops strip (the left and right, they are living so mindful when parking).
I've never seen or heard of a restaurant like this in UK where the seafood is not stone cold/ deep fried/ or flesh only. Think Nando's where you order your chicken then pick your sides, spice level and sauce, but with shellfish. My seafood connoisseur (aka my mum) approves. It's messy and it's expensive, so won't be coming back any time soon but love the place and will come back eventually. Its a special treat place rather than a regular haunt. Highly recommended.
