Outside the café, you can enjoy a sundowner or two (or even three! or simply relax with a coffee. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. I always enjoy stopping by for an aperitif.
Cafe directly on the square, delicious ice cream and a good aperitif are available there
Stopped here for pre-dinner drinks and in hindsight, should have never moved : . Get a table by the street, enjoy a cold beer whilst watching the world go by with the amazing landscape in the background. The staff bring complimentary fresh pizza slices as tapas with your drinks and the ones we had were some of the best pizzas we 've tasted! Lovely place to watch the afternoon turn into evening as you chill!
We stop at Susa from crossing from France. A lovely town. The Caffe del Sole is bang in the centre between the ecclesiastical museum and the fabulous castello and the Roman Arch up the road. The caffe is unpretentious, on the corner with tables on the pavement. Like many italian cafes, it is a halfway house between italian eating and fast food. Does very acceptable pasta and pizza and ice-creams are home made. Avoid the secondi piatti! That said, for a quick bite, we would go again on our next trip and the service is efficient and pleasant.
