Zeus - Surry Hills

Zeus Street Greek is a chain store that is famous for its delicious and hearty Greek foods. I have always loved this place and there are a few new menu items so I decided to check out their Surry Hills store one day for a casual lunch. We ordered a few dishes to share. The first was the Tzimmy lamb classic pita with lamb, tomato, chips, tzatziki, onion and paprika. I loved the idea of chips in a pita and this was delicious, the lamb was roasted to perfection and the paprika added a nice flavour.

Funky restaurant with fabulous Greek Street food options. The pitas were huge and very filling, loved the zucchini falafel flavour. The hot chips with feta cheese were my favourite and the Nutella loukoumades were insanely good. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service!

Accessible and easy to reach both with public transport and car. the service friendly, attentive and welcoming. we ordered the lamb shoulders (with pita brot and tzatziki,) which melt in their mouth tender and burst with taste. the seafood mezze board came with a few filets of barramundi (screamed and fritted), which was spiced and cooked for perfection (crispy shelled and an explosion of taste around the delicate flocks of barra with every bit definitiw my favourite part.) the calamari also delicate and full taste. the spanakopita in the side was flocky with a perfect combination of crispy that includes the fresy spinachy quality in the inner. Amazing! the best restaurant in which I was ever! treated me to my 47th birthday and the beautiful, nice waitress treated me like a goddess! eating was wonderful, fresh and made with love, an essential part! beautiful atmosphere and very neat. I really felt special and the waitress even wrote me a note on Greek paper that happy birthday from zeus said:D

The portion is quite small for the price. I won't go back again.
