What an easy night out great food, airy, beachy setting in the restaurant, fantastic service and excellent atmosphere. The bar was really noisy but not much you can do about that at 7pm on a Friday night. So given we were catching up with friends getting to the restaurant at 8.15pm was a relief as we could chat properly. Will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about The Dolphin Hotel:
Great food, and if nothing on the wine list takes your fancy, just ask you can also choose from the much more extensive list from the Wine Room next door. Service was very pleasant knowledgeable however either they were short staffed or just unobservant, as were left for long periods without service. One thing to note is that the noise levels made it difficult for our group of 4 to hear each other across the table. View all feedback.
Came for a business lunch and was impressed with the place. Nice venue with a cool vibe. Food is very delicious and service is friendly. would happily come again.
Professional, friendly service, very good pub food (better than most), a nice atmosphere. A really good place to meet and to socialise with friends.
Really nice service and food- highly recommend to people who are locals and those who are visiting. The wine and the pizzas were delicious and the staff really friendly
We have been to the Dolphin on many occasions, and whilst the vibe of the place is still fun and enjoyable, the food and service have changed. I have always enjoyed the pork schnitzel which used to come on the bone.. except this time is did not and the salad was more parsley than cabbage oddly. flavour was nice but not as good as it used to be. the heirloom tomato salad was a standout though and we loved it, as was the prawn pasta. The service was average at best.. it felt like a lot of new staff who had not been trained and had no answers to the few questions we had about the menu, wine etc. Shame as we used to love this place
Awesome place with great atmosphere and vibe ! Relaxed but still classy! Quick service and yummy food ! Definitely recommend for large groups and first dates!
