The Cricketer's Arms Hotel

I must say I am a fan of the cricketer for a Saturday night bewvy, but when it comes to eating, I was unfortunately disappointed. I had the cheeseburger and chips. the brot was a little on the side of the stag and the burger just didn't wear me. the meat was cooked. the chips were the real ones dropped. they tasted like many baked mccains chips without salt.

From most other pubs in surry hills, cricketer looked a bit from outside down and could use some dc. not sure that it was due to design or lack of maintenance? on the back were some community tables under deck good for large groups, but a bit wet on rainy days. the inner part was not big and felt dingy. it is a rainy day pub in which they do not want to waste a beautiful sunny day in this grim place.

Amazing chef....love the hot chips!!! Great specials. Enjoy eating our meals at the chefs table.... Friendly happy staff!! One of our favourite pubs in Sydney.

Definitely the best place to get a drink after work!! You will find a chill and relax atmosphere, really nice after a long week of intense work ! Come over and have a look by yourself !!

Always go to this place after work. Great atmosphere and staff. Love their nachos and classic burger. The curry and chips is a definite hit as well.
