Great little hip cafe just around the corner from our accommodation in Surry Hills. Staff were very friendly :). Baked eggs were amazing and coffee was great. Would definitely recommend. View all feedback.
What Geo Kub doesn't like about Mr Mo:
Looking for a cafe for breakfast or brunch? You may want to give Mr Mo a miss. The pesto hashbrown I got for brunch was just terrible. The bacon has burnt edges and tasted hard; the hashbrown was over fried and there was no way you could bite that piece of hashbrown unless you have teeth made of steel; the poached egg was sour (what did they add into the eggs?!)

Cute little cafe in Surry Hills with a couple of outdoor tables but no heaters. I had a mushroom (swapped from bacon) and egg roll with chilli jam and a side of spinach. The bun was nicely toasted and held some flat mushrooms and a poached egg (tip: all their egg dishes come with poached eggs by default unless requested otherwise). The chili jam was very unusual - it had lots of large plump raisins and zero chili heat. I'd classify it as a sweet raisin relish or even just raisin jam. The bun to filling ratio was also a bit off; I think a smaller bun or two poached eggs would work better. The freshly baked muffins looked great. Friendly service though it was a bit hard to get the attention of staff when it was busy. Not really worth making a special trip for but recommended for a simple, low key brunch if you're in the area.
Great brunch here, excellent friendly service. Food was good, coffee could be a bit better but still pretty great. Highly recommend the pesto hash brown dish.
We came here after the Sydney half marathon, and after patiently waiting, wee were seated shortly. A great little venue, modern decor and a very good vibe. Coffee was a little bit disappointing as it was quite small and not quite hot enough. Food was great as I had pesto rosti, with a few added extras including haloumi, which is always a welcome addition to any breakfast dish. Tomatoes were also delicious, very fresh.
