Situated near the Cleveland Street end of Crown Street this Mexican restaurant is a lovely surprise. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is fun and quirky. The food was flavoursome, generous and authentic. Really enjoyed the quesadilla and loved the churros. Tried some cactus which was quite spicy but my tolerance to spice is low. We really enjoyed the meal, and even got serenaded by the waiter. Oh a... View all feedback.
What Ephraim Cormier doesn't like about Mexican Burrito Cantina:
Me&Amy fiancé are so in love with Mexican food so ended up here trying the naked burrito and quesadilla. Portions were pretty abundant but food was a bit cold and staff not really focus on customer service. Not bad overall (considering the price is good) but there is room for improvement. Delivery only half of the order. they gave the delivery driver the debt, but the way the order was packed there is no possibility that the delivery drive could supply only 1 item. very bad experience for not great food too.
That's my first time I've been eating Mexicans outside, so it's definitiw different from what I'm used to. I really enjoyed the green tomato sauce on the enchiladas and the portions were appropriate for the price. nachos was good, but the liquid cheese felt a little fat for me. I'll try another one again!
For the best authentic Mexican cuisine not further than this hot spot! the food here was so delicious and the service was great! beatriz gave us recommended and made us a perfect michelada.
Great nachos and everything else is also delicious. nachos have liquid cheese sauce and grated cheese. they have to add guac to their dish! as their chili beef has more taste than pure ground beef.
The closest to real Mexican food in the CBD, I really enjoy the enchiladas and pozole, it's my go to when I'm missing home, all the others are just tex-mex.
