I have heard a lot about this place to get a quick bite. snatched the salad and chicken catsu. delicious. really crispy katsu, although it was flattened quite thinly. the salad was delicious, fresh and healthy. it was great. in any case again for her Katsu role, which I believe is her specificity. the coffee was also quite good. little marionette bean. What Myah Thompson doesn't like about Lucky Pickle:
lucky pickle is hidden to the corner of crown street, and I am surprised that I never stumbled over it (as I managed to stumble over paddock next door.) it is a tiny hole in the wall served delicious sandwiches and an salat. it seems to have been there at least and handed over to new owners in View all feedback.
Lucky Pickle has the best Tonkatsu chicken sandwich ($10). The sauce, chicken and salad fit well together and is quite filling. The cafe has a nice ambience and would definitely recommend.
Heard a lot about this place so dropped in for a quick bite. Grabbed the salad and chicken katsu. Delicious. Really crunchy katsu, though it was flattened out rather thinly. The salad was delicious, fresh and healthy. Loved it. Definitely returning for their katsu roll which I believe is their specialty. The coffee was pretty good too. Little Marionette beans.
Pretty decent quality sandwich on crusty baguette bread. It's a filling lunch, the shop is small so there's hardly any seating and most seem to come and get on to take away. By 2pm they had sold out of their pork belly sandwich which seems to be the most popular, pork Katsu sandwich was very good. Crunchy battered pork atop a bed of cabbage sesame seeds and a light tonkatsu sauce.
Best Tonkatsu Chicken Sandwich ever! The tonkatsu sauce pairs amazingly well with the chicken and the salad provides a nice, fresh crunch. The chicken is still crispy and not refrigerator cold which is a plus. The bread has a Banh Mi taste and is super soft! Only negative would be the location as it is a bit inconvenient.
