I was recently in Sydney for the second time in 18 months and made a bee line for breakfast at the "Lemon Twist Cafe". Having dined here last time could not wait to go back for one of the best breakfasts in Sydney. Also having previoulsy dined at "Bill's" down the road I think Lemon gives them a real run for their money with the famous scrambled eggs and a lot better value at half the price. Fab location and lovely coffee but unfriendly barista (owner/manager?) made us feel quite unwelcome. Ordered scrambled eggs - tooooooo much! Must have been 6 eggs for one person. Would not go back. View all feedback.
The food is average, the coffee is burnt. The manage/owner behind bar table was very rude. Very disappointed and will not visit again. Not recommended.

Restaurant near surry hill state library. Really good service and excellent food. We had Italian job, pastry, a stack of corn

My friend had the Egg and Bacon sandwhich with cheese, lettuce and relish and said it was to die for. A great start to any day, this place is a real gem.
