Fat Angel - Surry Hills

On the outside Fat angle looks amazing,interior gets a 5 star rating, unfortunately that's it!! Cheap beer for happy hour,but the beer smelt terrible, meaning the unpopular beers have a mould build up in beer lines due to lack of cleaning.. Went there or $12 pizza promoted on website.. Got to be told no more $12 pizza, manager said" this was supposed to be taken off 2 weeks ago".. Not my problem. Very strange feeling to be in a bar on a Friday night at 6 pm during happy hour and the only 2 people in there was my partner and myself.. Won't be back.

Relatively new place in surry hills. Nice interior, good service, very very reasonable price $6 for beer battered chips, $12 pizza, $18 burgers. Shame the restaurant was almost empty on. Saturday night. I think it is because the location is slightly out of the way and menu doesn't differentiate enough. In fact Lil Darlin down the road does similar thing (pizza and cocktails) but has better location and better known. Wish them good luck. thernbdiary.com

Great venue with choice of tables and cosy couches, recommend their Pink Power cocktail if you like vodka and berries, the fat angel burger and Carvo for dessert...(caramelised vodka from South Africa). Their also have very nice salads. Service is friendly and professional and they have good taste in music. Perfect for dates or groups. Highly recommend this place.

I love the fat Angel beef burger... Delicious!!! The manager Randy is friendly and very helpful. Service is great... Will be returning very soon!!!!

Went to this place recently and felt the need to spread the word...  great venue with a great vibe! I will be returning for sure. Also the Surry Hill Side Cocktail is a must try!
