I love this place. The small Colombian café in Surry Hills conquered my stomach and my heart about a year ago. I would think this place often often when I lived closer. Grief

The food is just amazing. So delicious and with lots of taste. The waiting staff are so friendly. And I love the Spanish music playing in the background. Grief

Highly recommended. Especially the Colombian soups on a cold winter day. View all feedback.
I had an arepas for brunch. I spent the night nearby. And the homey settings of Cafe con Leche captured me. This is my first experience with Colombian food and it tasted wonderful. Definitely lingers in my memory.
A friends from twitter, one a Native American and another from Venezuela were discussing fry bread and tacos. (As an aside from ancient agricultural systems and land grabs.) I was told that a proto-taco called arepas existed. I tracked this place down. We had the arepas plate and the tamales. It's really the first time I've had tamales and liked them. I was so excited about this place that I told a friend who se background is from South America. We met for lunch and he said it was the best Columbian food. The soup reminded him of his grandmothers. He liked it so much he told his Columbian friends. The food is great, service is great, the cafe itself is fun and quirky. Outside seating for those with pups. I know. I should have taken the photos before we ate.

The best hot chocolate I have after coming to Sydney... Nice ambience and friendly staff who always greets you with a smile... Would love to go there again... This time will try the Arepas...
Very small quirky place but absolutely loved the food and coffee here! That Colombian fried bread/cheese thing was the Best!! Would come back just for that!!
