The service at this restaurant is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. However, the Kim Chi pancake was a bit too sour from the sauce, and the pancake itself was slightly tough. The tofu, on the other hand, was cooked beautifully. The mushroom truffle on crumpet was absolutely delicious, with each element paired perfectly. It was a super fulfilling dish. View all feedback.
What fang lin doesn't like about Bondi Wholefoods:
Vegans know how tricky it can be to find a quick take-away lunch in the city. Bondi Wholefoods in Surry Hills is perfect if you're in a hurry and looking for something healthy and filling. I've had both the sweet potato and the veggie patty wrap (toasted if you prefer), and a selection of protein-rich salads. Coffee and smoothies come with a choice of plant milks. If you do want to eat in, vibes are nice. I've never... View all feedback.
Beautiful, spacious setting. This cafe is perhaps more aesthetically appealing than the original Bondi Wholefoods based in Bondi. Friendly service and beautifully presented food. I love how this cafe even does the little things, like mint in the table water, natural stevia sweetener and Himalayan salt. Surcharge when using card was a bit of a bummer, it cost $18 for an açai bowl which I feel is quite overpriced for a smoothie in a bowl with fruit, however, I would recommend to others!
Really yummy food, quick service and I appreciated the diverse menu in terms of vegan options. The smoothies on their own are a meal but I still enjoyed the pancakes. Definitely a place to check out if you're into a healthier brunch spot.
Feeling hungry we decided to over order and spend a ridiculous amount for brunch but at least we were both full by the end of it! I loved the layout of Bondi Wholefoods Surry Hills it was spacious and open, kind of like dining in a courtyard. Dogs were allowed even though it is under shelter so you would technically think it's indoors.<br/ <br/ We ordered the vegan pancakes which was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Pretty food makes me happy haha. It tasted like health which is not necessarily a bad thing, but they were definitely no soft, fluffy pancakes. It was almost like a cake but could've been even heavier than that from memory. It will fill you up that's for sure!<br/ <br/ Also ordered the classic smashed avo and happy to see they were generous with the avocado! It wasn't the best avocado toast I've had (and I have had more than my fair share to compare with), but it was your standard avo toast which you cannot go wrong with.<br/ <br/ The sweet potato wrap came with a tasty salsa, but without it I felt it was a tad bland. Not complaining though! I appreciate bland. It was quite a healthy, little wrap.<br/ <br/ The smoothies here are really something. A meal on their own for some. Considering they come at a hefty cost I should've figured this and ordered less. Still good though. My blue majik latte was not as great (although very pretty), and I will not order again. It's good for you, which is the sole reason I ordered, but I think I'll stick to my handy dandy matcha lattes.
My fav cafe! How amazing sugar free muffins! Every time I went there, they literally surprised me! Omg I’m going again tmr! Miss those healthy treats!!!
