It is a small joint and did take me a couple of tries to understand which dishes were available with which option, but the food was lovely. I had ordered a lamb shank curry with rice, my wife had ordered methi chicken and paneer mutter with butter roti (she substituted the rice with the Indian bread option). The lamb shank curry was perfectly done, the meat was tender and well marinated. I am not normally a steamed r... View all feedback.
What Theresia Rolfson doesn't like about Bollywood Mirch Masala:
I went there during lunchtime and ordered $10.90 lunchpack with 1 curry samosa 2 papadum. I choose bark vandaloo for the curry. as the type prepared for eating, he cultivates the planter with mere hand, got white whether his hand clean or not. then he gave me only with 1 papadum instead of 2. while I ate the main meal, 50% of the meats vandaloo are kartoffels instead of bark meat! I don't suggest eating there. View all feedback.
I got takeaway here for lunch for my partner who needs gluten free, no chilli and not deep fried, also pref not much rice. They were able to cope with these requests very well and were really helpful. The tandoori chicken was delicious although a little spicy for him, and they provided a container with just a little rice and 2 vegetarian dishes. Thank you Bollywood, he really enjoyed it! Much appreciated.
Great little friendly family run takeaway joint with the best naan in town! Ordered a Kashmiri naan and will definitely come back and have it again, paradise in a naan. Great value too - any of their meals will have you absolutely full to the brim and they're generous with meat and serving sizes.
I went there during lunch time and ordered $10.90 lunch pack with 1 curry + samosa + 2 papadum.. i choose beef vandaloo for the curry. When the guy prepared the food, he picks the papadum with bare hand, God knows if his hand clean or not. Then he gave me only with 1 papadum instead 2. While I ate the main meal halfway, 50% of the beef vandaloo are potatoes instead of beef meat! Rip off! I wont suggest to have meal there.
Great Food..Nice curries..highly recommended!! Flavours and taste reminds you of Mumbai..best Indian restaurant in town!
I don't know if I just went at a bad time (wed 8.45pm) or if it's always like this but I won't be back to find outI ordered butter chicken and rice.
