The cozy neighborhood setting, paired with the elegant Victorian-era decor, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The homemade bread and friendly service enhance the overall sensory experience, making Arthur a must-visit spot for food enthusiasts. Whether it's a special occasion or casual meal with friends, Arthur impresses with its exquisite flavors and charming ambiance.
It was fun to go with friends to their favourite restaurant, and it’s so close to us in Surry Hills, and I’d already had recommendations to check it out. Arthur is doing a fantastic job at really elegant food, in a cosy neighbourhood setting and with fantastic value!. $80 for 5 courses seems a steal, especially for the quality of the food. The wine is a little pricy so maybe that’s how they’re surviving.
A cosy little joint at Surry Hills. Food was great and service was excellent. Really worth a visit!!
A lovely neighbourhood place with delicious wine and food. Standouts were the kangaroo tartare and the creamy buttery sauce of the pork loin. The bottle of chardonnay from Tassie was also a banger. Would be even better if some dishes had a bit more food, but that's just because I'm a pig.
I was pleasantly surprised by Arthur. I had heard good things about it, but it exceeded my expectations.
