Had the California roll, and the lobster roll.California rolls here are smaller and cheaper, but equally delicious as many other places. They were the perfect size! The lobster rolls were not as good as I thought they would be (felt like there weren't any in there at all) and there was too much going on with the sauces. My roommates liked them well enough though. View all feedback.
What Scott Miller doesn't like about Kami Strawberry Hill Japanese:
I called in an order for my wife to pick up on her way home from working in Vancouver. The lady taking the order seemed to have trouble getting it right so I went over it twice and she said she got it right- except she didnt. My wife had to wait while they got it right. I thought they might offer one of the appitizers for free but they didnt because "eventually we got it right and your wife left with the correct order... View all feedback.
This restaurant is a true classic. The staff is lovely, the food is delightful, and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Even during the busy December months, the wait time for food isn't bad at all. The portion sizes are generous, and the dishes are absolutely delicious and quite filling. It’s definitely my go-to spot for sushi in North Delta. I've visited this place probably a hundred times throughout my life, and it's always been worth it.
The restaurant offered a tranquil atmosphere, the food was delightful, and the overall vibe was pleasant. The service was efficient as well.
I truly enjoy the food at this restaurant! There's a wonderful variety to choose from, and everything is always fresh and tasty. The service is great as well. We ordered delivery the last time, and it was just as fantastic as eating in the restaurant.
I just got back from Japan, and I have to say that the tempura, udon, and sushi at this restaurant are absolutely amazing!
I tried the California roll and the lobster roll at the restaurant. The California rolls were smaller and more affordable than at many other places, but they were just as delicious. They were the perfect size! However, I found the lobster rolls to be a bit disappointing; they felt like they had very little lobster in them, and there were too many sauces overpowering the flavor. My roommates enjoyed them, though.
