Was Logan D'Amore at Chefe Daniel a mag?

We ordered the grilled calamari and chouriço sausage as appetizers. Both were very good. The rack of lamb done medium rare was excellent. Another at our table had the rack of lamb medium and it was a bit tough. There was a good wine for a reasonable price on the menu but they had only two bottles of different vintages in stock. What Jarvis Cruickshank dislikes about Chefe Daniel:

A group of 11 had reservations for dinner here, I can honestly say it was the worst meal we have ever had. After waiting for our meal for 1 1/2 hrs. Half of them were sent back. 6 Steak dinners were ordered, only 1 was edible. Way, way to overpriced. The chef was extremely rude, did not like to hear our complaints at all. Avoid this place, I just don't even know how this place is still in business. View all feedback.

I absolutely love this fantastic Portuguese restaurant! The Chouriço (Portuguese sausage) is delicious, and their Cogumelos soup is incredibly flavorful.

The Portuguese restaurant is lovely. Each time I have visited, Chef Daniel is always walking around and chatting with customers.

This has been one of the worst dining experiences I've had since moving to Canada. The atmosphere and staff were enjoyable, but the food was subpar and expensive. I do not plan on returning.

After shopping, my partner and I decided to try out this Portuguese restaurant that we heard about. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was very European and the food well prepared. We did have a bit of a long wait but that was possibly our early visit at 5:30. Wine selection was limited but the Jackson-Trigg glass of Cab Sav wine I ordered was absolutely delightful. The buns were freshly baked. Nice touch. We went straight to the entrees. I ordered the mixed grill consisting of lamb, quail, pork and beef with a generous helping of vegetables. The beef steak was cooked to medium exactly as requested. My partner ordered the special called the Cobbler consisting of baked wild caught white fish like a sole but firmer (can't remember name) with capers and raisins, also with a generous helping of vegetables. Both were prepared satisfactorily and delicious. The two entrees came to $46 and the wine $7. Service was very attentive. It's worth a return visit for us.
