Coming from the NJ/NY/ Philly Italian food scene, we were pleasantly surprised by the food, the hospitality and the candor of the owners. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a real dining experience to check out Specchio.

The food is simply incredible and the Specchio team always makes us feel at home at their charming and cozy location on the main drag in Surfside. One tip if you enjoy spicy, be sure to ask for the spicy olive oil for the fresh tomatoes, it is out of this world flavorful. Follow with a great pasta (or other) dish and enjoy with some wine. Heaven!

I lived in Italy for 2 years and this is like sitting on the Mediterranean again. We made some passing joke about risotto, so the guy whipped up one for my wife AND gave her a double portion. Everyone was so cordial and made it a very fun experience.
