Marco's on Cavill - Surfers Paradise

Always happy to see an independent set up shop after a successful run as a food truck.

We were going to see a concert at the O2 Shepherd's Bush, and found this place on Yelp for a quick dinner before. We were seated right away and ordered

Really interesting restaurant format, which I experienced for dinner on a Saturday night. Sit down in the private and intimate cafe setting, off the street in the heart of Surfers, and place yourself in the capable hands of Marco - a passionate chef with a flair for food and a focus on customer service. No set menu, just a set price $25 per head. He brought out a salad and three/four choices of freshly cooked pizza/pasta. Lovely culinary exploration. Wonderful food, and a setting which allows for great conversation.

Decided to try out this restaurant for dinner with some friends and I'm glad we went! Was very quiet so didn't know what to expect, but very friendly and efficient service. A great variety of food was served up for us to share (pizzas, pastas and salads) at very reasonable value ($20 per head). Definitely would recommend and return!
