Koastal Kitchen - Surfers Paradise

Bubbly and amazing staff! The chef even prepared us an item of choice from the dessert menu during the afternoon before dinner service due to the poolside cafe/bar being closed.. food was quite yummy, however during breakfast buffet there wasn't a great deal of variety that you would expect with the price... the coffee was also cold.. and plates that hadn't been cleaned properly. Otherwise a great place to chill out and have something to eat or a few drinks. Staff are more than willing to engage in some entertaining conversation.

Honestly the food was tasty good portions and surprised it wasn't busier. I had the Barra yum The staff were polite and sharp with there service.If you are coming to Gold Coast for a holiday want a good meal at a fair price, you won't go wrong dining here.

The meal, service and prices were all very impressive. The fifth star is missing because there is a small step that is almost invisible in the evening lighting. I tripped going in, and an elderly lady had a heavy fall later. I was told we're far from the first. There is a sign on one side of the wall, but I certainly didn't notice it. This is unacceptable and must be remedied, A similar step on the other side of the restaurant has a ramp. Why do one and not the other?

Great variety of food, lovely Restaurant within Mantra Sun City Resort, great location with lovely views of the Resorts outdoor area. We visited 3 times, with first and second visit being very impressed with service as well, and on the 3th visit we had a group of 8 of us, made the reservation with reception 2 days earlier requesting a window table, but on our arrival the waitress took us to a table of 8 in the middle of restaurant. We looked around the windows, and none of the window tables were reserved, so we asked her if we could have a window as we requested one , and none of the windows were reserved. For some reason , this request was to much for this waitress, her name is Hanna, and when we even asked can she just put 3 tables together for us, she simply refused, telling us they made a table for us in the middle of restaurant. For start, I was shocked with her attitude, and did wonder what is she doing in a place where customer service should preveil??. As we had our friends from interstate with us, we did not want to spoil there evening by calling on to Manager,but desided not to go back there for as long as Hanna is either spoken to , or until she leaves. It is sad sometimes, that great places employ people whose customer service needs a big over howl.
