The Fast Fish Poke More - Surf City

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the poke after just leaving Hawaii. The fish was fresh and the parings worked well.

I always try to stop by when I can! It's great when you're coming off the beach from a long walk. Their spicy crab is my favorite when it's fresh So I'll ask for a half portion with spicy tuna, just in case. I love to get ALL of the extras! (Thatseaweed salad is to die for! I always try get a side of fresh tuna for my dogs they love coming with me!

Finally tried Fast Fish and was very disappointed by the cold rice. In Hawaii, California, New York, DC, etc., poke is usually served over hot rice. If rice were to be served cooled, it should at the very minimum be sushi rice! Instead this just tastedlike refrigerated grainy rice. The toppings were good! But the rice really ruined it all. I also wish they had salmon options!Salmon poke is the best!

My son and I ate here for the first time today. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also great! He took the time to answer our questions and very attentively dealt with our concerns due to certain allergies. We will definitely be back!

Went today. For 2 poke bowls we waited over 55 minutes. There were only 3 small orders ahead of us. Everyone was complaining and ready to leave. There was only one guy working (taking orders and preparing the food). I understand places are short staffed nowbut they should have closed or warned people of the wait. We had a toddler and infant and would have gone elsewhere. My rice wasold tasting but the rest of it tasted pretty good (I got spicy mayo tuna). My daughter got smoked tuna which looked very clearlyfrom a can (and it was also one giant congealed mass of tuna that was hard to break apart). I know restaurants have it toughright now but would rather they are open fewer days and fully staffed than to be slow and sloppy with food.
