cozy, small gas room in beautiful old walserhaus. a menu is not available, the chef personally introduces the menu in the winery, in which you can discover the wonderful appetizer buffet with local specialities. You can also read the wine as a gassing yourself in the winery, the water (free) you get at the fountain in front of the house. we were with a very fine wild choir, whipped and sworn. a really special restaur... What Isabelle Zimmermann doesn't like about Casa da Luzi:
We too stayed in a so called suite CHF180 is way too much money for what we had. No soap or shower gel provided and bathroom something out of the 70s. Again pictures in internet did not represent our room no TV or...personal touches. Food is ok but overall overpriced especially wine with minimum around CHF50. Would also be good to have a menu with drink prices etc. View all feedback.
Okay, I checked this in my stay on the same name, but here it is. Arno, the cook, here's a nice man. While this does not make the taste of food better (how could it be? You eat in a wood-paneled room as you would imagine if you thought of a dining room in the Alps. The food is completely up-to-date with interesting turns on classic foods, but oh, so classic in the sense that everything just tastes really good. Sauces are perfect. Nothing is heavy, but every night Arno served a very local dish and something really unusual. We ate there 3 nights in a row and loved every dinner. I loved the evening especially that the main course was venison. This is not something we get in California and it was delicate and tasty. Don't miss breakfast here if you can. The buffet breakfast is enough to keep you all day. We cannot wait to go back to visit our nice hosts and eat the fine food again.
The food was amazing, fresh, local and tasty. A little expensive, but worth its price. Great breakfast. Stunning little village, 15 minutes from Vals.

My family and I went spontaneously to the casa da luzi eating and have been greeted warmly. we chose a 3-speed menu and it was fabulous. apero in great wine cellar with nice accompaniment, homemade pumpkin soup and lamm to the main dish with rice and vegetables..A man mouse! emy and arno fit like the faust on the eye in such a operation. thanks for the great evening he will stay in memory and we will be happy to come back;)
We stayed one night at Casa da Luzi and had dinner at the restaurant. The dining room has a beautiful old chalet-style atmosphere and the food was traditional and good. Starter and dessert buffet in the old wine cellar serves dinner...special.
