Ravens Ait Island offers a picturesque riverside experience perfect for weddings and casual visits alike. Guests have praised the stunning location, charming ambiance, and friendly staff, noting it as a unique venue that creates memorable occasions. However, the restaurant aspect has received criticism for limited menu options, inconsistent service, and occasionally disappointing food quality. Many visitors appreciated the exquisite afternoon tea and successful weddings, while some experienced frustrations with event accessibility and inadequate beverage choices. Overall, Ravens Ait presents a delightful setting, but improvements in dining options and service consistency could elevate the experience further.

We reserved a table, turns out the it was not booked for afternoon tea. Bearing in mind it was the booking was for 3pm on Mother’s Day. The gentleman on the door was u willing to find a solution. From what we heard on the boat back, we dodged a bullet

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Ravens Ait 19 years ago, so we decided to return for the first time to celebrate Father's Day with a BBQ. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our experience. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. Considering the price we paid, the quality was simply not worth it. Even the side of Potato Wedges was cold. What a shame!

The restaurant has no charm at all, which is a shame given the potential. The food was ok, but there is a very limited selection.

Great relaxed Sunday afternoon with friends, good food, good service and good scenery. Would recommend to all groups.
