This restaurant is so hospitable that even the fish would willingly swim here just to experience the exceptional treatment. Laverne's cooking is infused with love and respect.

I drove for 20 minutes to reach this restaurant, only to discover that there was a 45-minute wait for our food.

This is the best chocolate milkshake I've ever had! I adore this restaurant. It's a special place where the food may be simple, but it's prepared with love and attention to detail.

We visited LaVerne's Grill for lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant's very cozy and the staff were very friendly! We were told that LaVerne has the best fish & chips in town and it does! very delicious and the portion was enough for two to share.

I love this place. This is one of those special places where the food is simple, but it's made with love and care. It's incredible! Fish and chips was perfect, everything you want fish and chips to be. And the portions are huge! We also had a perfect poutine and the world's greatest milkshake. If I lived here, I would go to LaVerne's everyday, and I would be a much larger person. If you are anywhere near Garden Bay, go get that milkshake! :)
