The sweetest little bakery in the forest! What a pleasant surprise was to stumble here after a nice hike. Your cinnamonbunk is the best I had in my whole life, I just wish I had the bigger one. View all feedback.

Avoid if you have allergies. We asked if quinoa was in the GF flour and they weren't sure. We ordered a GF bun and they put it in with the regular bun. When we asked for them to replace it with another uncontaminated bun. They said we'd have to pay for another. View all feedback.
A lovely little cafe hidden in Skookumchuck Parks. You can only walk up to the cafe as there is no car access. A nice little treat on the way back if you decide to walk the 45 minute trail to the narrows to see the tide change (be sure to check online when they are before you go). I love the quietness and quaintness of the cafe and would highly recommend when doing the trail!
This can be a difficult place to find. You can't drive to it...you must park on the public road and walk briefly through a lush privately owned rainforest to arrive. It's a lovely building, designed to blend into the environment. It's modern, warm and inviting and staffed by a couple of lovely ladies who provide good service with a broad smile. Most importantly, their coffee is sensational. I ordered a blueberry muffin. It was huge and very nice. My wife ordered seafood chowder. It was also delicious, but was more bouillabaisse than chowder in that it was a little thin. The bread they served was wonderful. There are tables inside, but we chose to sit on the balcony overlooking the brook and gardens. It was quite magical. If you get the chance pop in here...it's a rare find.

A friend of mine told me I had to give this place a chance as they have one of the biggest cinnamon balls she'd ever had. We gave it a try and I will add to her quote that not only the cinnamon bung was huge, it was divine. The turkey sandwich was amazing. Fresh, delicious bread. The hot chocolate was so delicious. And, can we have a little cooler than sitting in the balcony of a café in the middle of a forest in a rainy day and enjoying your food? I don't think so! And the staff we're super friendly. The service was so fast that you get your food as soon as you find your seat. I love it!
Beautiful surroundings, excellent coffee (I had two lattes every time we went out of beer greed), and such beautiful people and service. Despite so much to do in the area, we spent a few hours in this place every morning, just because the mood was nice. Very recommended. Also for children and pets!
