Big Hill Cafe - Sunset
Big Hill Cafe
Description
Nestled in the heart of the community, this charming café offers a mixed experience. While the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff set the stage for a pleasant visit, attentiveness can be lacking, leading to delays in service. Diners rave about the delicious food, especially the brunch options like beignets, but some meals have fallen short, with inconsistent quality reported, particularly during busier times. Despite some challenges with cleanliness and availability of menu items, many have cherished memories here, from memorable Mother's Day buffets to intimate family gatherings. Overall, it remains a recommended spot for a casual bite or special occasion.

I had the porkloin special and it was amazing! Definitely worth the drive from Natchitoches!
Great food, great atmosphere, and good, friendly service. Mr. Brent and his family have a good thing going. Try their cake, burgers, home made chips and salads.
Plate lunches were amazing! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We drove over an hour today for Sunday lunch. 1145am we were there and already out of chicken and pork. Only 1 sausage n 3 ribs. Dirty rice tasted burned and bland and very greasy! Pork n beans and small potato salad were good. No slice of bread. Table was dirty and had to ask for it to be cleaned, from dirty plate, silverware and drink glass. Very disappointed this Time!
