Description

NALA's restaurant presents a diverse menu featuring both Indian and Nepali cuisine, celebrated for its bold flavors and generous portions. Diners have praised options like Gobi Manchurian and medu vada, while also enjoying unique features such as free post-lunch tea and an unlimited buffet. However, some experiences mar the overall appeal, particularly concerns over bone fragments in dishes like Tikka Masala, which can detract from enjoyment. Despite occasional service challenges, NALA's remains a standout for its vegetarian and vegan selections, and its commitment to quality makes it a notable destination in Austin's culinary landscape.

Just a heads up: the restaurant is now called Nala, and it no longer offers a buffet.

Gravy was straight water and had 0 flavor profile. Never order delivery from Cafe India Nalas or Coriander its all the same

There are no buffets available. This is the Nala restaurant location, but when I arrived at 12:41 PM on a Monday, the building was completely empty. The listing is misleading, as it presents this restaurant as separate from others. Additionally, the photos used are quite outdated; the interior looks nothing like what is shown.

Very bad food. Worst I have had in my life. I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered food but couldn’t eat. Had to throw away anyway.

It's the same restaurant, NALA's. The food was terrible. The mutton was stale. This isn't an Indian restaurant; it’s a Nepali place. Overall, it was a very disappointing dining experience.
