Legends Tavern Grille Sunrise

Went to Legends today. I've seen this place before but never gone. Gem. Really enjoyed the offering of beverages and food. Had the Buffalo chicken dip to start. Really good. Our sandwiches we ordered were great. Staff and service excellent. Sports on tvs too. I jad a great time.

One thing to note is that the restaurant was quite chilly, so bringing a jacket might be a good idea if that bothers you. Our order was also slightly mixed up, and since the staff was busy, it took a while to get our food. However, the server who took our order was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. Overall, it was a great first visit!

I asked the waitress if they had good nachos, and she assured me they were great. So, I decided to give them a try, but they were disappointing. The nachos were loaded with tomatoes and lettuce, but lacked beans, cheese, or any meat. I've never encountered anything like it before—more like something you'd expect from a high school home economics class.

Upon returning to Legends, I expected the same excellent service I received on my first visit, but I was sadly mistaken. I ordered a bacon burger and sweet tea, and when my name was called for pickup, the woman behind the bar was immediately snappy and rude. I was a few cents short with my payment, so I reached into my pocket to cover the remainder and also included a tip because I understand the importance of tipping well, coming from the service industry myself. However, when I offered her the extra change as a tip, she just scoffed and said, "I’ve changed," and walked away with my remaining coins. I couldn't tell if she assumed I was broke or if she was simply having a bad day, but I felt deeply insulted. To make matters worse, when I checked my food, my bacon burger was missing the bacon and the meat was cooked below my preference, making it unappetizing. My sweet tea was also bland, reflecting the overall lackluster service. I am incredibly disappointed that I spent nearly $30 for such poor service and food that I didn't even want to eat. I had hoped to make this my go-to spot, but now I seriously doubt that will happen.

Very cool sports bar with GREAT Food!, drinks and friendly smiling faces welcome you with great service! Will definitely enjoy some more again! Stay on it, have to take pictures on my next visit! Forget it because everything was so great before I remembered taking photos. Thank you Christina!
