We've been visiting the Sunnyvale farmer's market for nearly 23 years, almost every Saturday. Our outings always conclude with a stop at the Bean Scene Cafe. While there are several new coffee spots in downtown Sunnyvale, this one remains our favorite. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, the coffee is excellent, and we adore the atmosphere. I tried this restaurant for the first time and loved it! The americano was delicious and served hot. The veggie omelette was fantastic, especially with the homemade guacamole I added. I'm really impressed and will definitely order again!
Bean Scene is a step above Starbucks and other coffee chains. You can really taste the difference; their food isn't frozen like what you'll find in larger coffee houses. Don't hesitate—give Bean Scene a chance!
The chai tea latte with soy was exactly what I needed to kickstart my early workday. It was creamy, perfectly spiced, and not overly sweet—just right!

This is a fantastic spot! It has the charm of an old-school downtown café with incredible espresso, delicious sandwiches, and unique offerings like the "chicken bake," empanadas, and crepes. What really stands out is the atmosphere created by the wonderful staff, who add so much value to those precious moments I get to enjoy a cup of espresso. The music is nice—probably just the regular radio, though I'm not entirely sure. They also have a fantastic collaboration with a local art club, showcasing a diverse range of artwork from watercolors to photographs that continuously adorn the café walls, capturing my heart and my Instagram feed! The dessert selection is a bit limited compared to places in Vienna or San Francisco/Moscow, but I particularly enjoy the Middle Eastern baklava with my espresso.
