First Wok - Sunnyvale

Please save your money! I was charged $62.00 for a meal that included sweet and sour pork, BBQ pork, fried rice, and fried wontons. My daughter ordered fried noodles and some other dish. The sweet and sour pork was terrible! The food used to be good, but something has changed. They didn't even include soy sauce. Will not be returning to Garden House.

The staff are friendly, and the restaurant is great for quick, greasy Chinese food. In fact, the meal was so indulgent that I may need a break from the best Chinese food for at least a year.

I recently visited a Chinese restaurant on 12/10/21 at 5:30 pm and was pleasantly surprised to see that First Wok was still open and busy. I didn't have to wait long to order my meal, and I was able to take my time looking over the menu before deciding on beef, vegetables, and string bean chicken. The beef dish I tried was delicious, with a unique mix of flavors including green bell peppers and ginger. I also appreciated that they still offer paper takeout boxes, as I find plastic containers to be messy and inconvenient. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Normally the dishes are good, but today when I ordered the usual salt and pfeffer huhn and braided tofu, the braided tofu this time was dry as bark silk. They called and asked if they could get the court back, but they said they were too busy and hanged on me, even though I was still talking. I visited this place often before and it was an unfortunate experience that surprised me. will not visit this business again.
