Philomena's - Sunnyside

Today is the last day here, I'm going to miss this place. The best pizza anywhere near here. Sad to see them close! UPDATE: they're back, for now. Love the pizza!

Best pizza I?ve had in New York is at Philomena?s Sunnyside Queens. It?s better than Joes, NY Pizza Suprema, and Prince St?. I ordered the cheese, square, and Tiramisu. All were phenomenal! Dave, who is the owner, is so passionate about making pizza thathis energy is contagious. This picture is taken with the owner of Philomena?s Sunnyside Queens (on the way to Citi Field on thesubway 40th Street). The pizza blew away all of the big tourist locations in NYC. Check the hours because it?s mostly an eveningpizza joint, open after 4pm.

I won't be able to call them the best pizza place in queens but I can say that they are one of the good ones for sure.Their pizza crust is extremely thin,crusty ???? ????. Square pizza wasn't great at all. Personal pies were good. If the quality oftheir ingredients are one level up I would definitely say they are the best But I will order from them moving forward for sure

This place has simply broken my expectations of what a great pizza slice or pie should be. I am just sad I only found this place through a friend after moving out of state! It's worth it no amount of words will accurately describe how good it is. Give ita chance and fall in love!

Philomena's was always at the top of the list, but when it was getting hard to actually get a pizza delivers they fell a few notches. UNTIL TONIGHT! They are now only offering personal pizza. I was hesitant at first, but of course this so brilliant!People who live in NYC usual only need a personal sized pizza! And so, so, soooo good! Thanks Philomena?s!!
