Ate here when I was in NYC August 2015. Good quality food, better yet, it tasted like home cooking. Ordnete Biryani and chicken jalfrezi if I remember correctly. Samosas also enjoyed as a snack earlier a day. View all feedback.
Had lunch with my family after doctors appointment. Ordered vegetable pakora, chicken kebab, chicken biryani, and beef biryani. Food is great.
When I come to Curry Point, I usually order the vegetable biryani.
They're always closed! They probably open their doors twice a week.

Curry Point is currently my popular Indian restaurant in Sunnyside. The $2.00 garlic naan is to die for 5 stars. Fresh thin sliced pieces of garlic, spices and basil sprinkled on a roasted and slightly burned naan with a chewing outer layer. Best article in the menu. Must try. Chicken, beef or veal. Can't go wrong with the combo menu with kabob, rice and salad. I tried 4 different combos and all tasted fantastic, but the meat was boiled and thick every time. Note that it is best to call in advance to pick up. Once I had to wait 10 minutes for the Naan. Some nights the restaurant is packed and therefore no seating area for those who order. I stood before a couple while they enjoy their meal. Very unpleasant. Avoid the Chicken Tikka Masala. I ordered it for lunch and had the slopes for a few days. Maybe it was the only time, but I suggest you don't order it.
