My partner and I are both vegan. He is originally from the south and proclaimed that this was the best vegan soul food he had ever tasted, as well as the best soul food in general. I agreed, stating that it tasted like it was made with love. I love everything about this restaurant, except for the oxen. Their sides are unbelievable and they have really nailed the vegan soul food concept.
