Goosefeathers Pub - Sunapee
Goosefeathers Pub
Description
Nestled near Mt. Sunapee, this restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. While many patrons appreciate the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, particularly during busy ski weekends, opinions on the food vary. Some dishes, like the buffalo chicken wings and cheeseburger, received high praise for flavor and quality, while others deemed the menu bland and reminiscent of cafeteria fare. Though the service can be slow, many found it a suitable setting to relax after a day on the slopes. However, potential diners should note that reservations are recommended, especially during peak times, and WiFi connectivity is often lacking.

Beautiful ski area, 1 hour or 1.5 hours outside Boston. The resort was well maintained and the staff was very helpful. The lines were crazy...
Pro's: near Boston (1:45), hiking trails are well maintained and you can go as fast as you want; Lodge is spacious, good après at Goosefeathers. Con's:...
The restaurant was just average. They didn't have many gluten-free options. I ordered a salad with croutons. It was decent. The ambiance of the restaurant was like a cafeteria.
We came to this restaurant during a ski trip at Mt Sunapee. The selection and quality of food really surprised us. We ordered buffalo chicken wings, cheeseburger, and garden salad. The chicken wings were fried perfectly, not too dry. The cheeseburger is top notch delicious. The garden salad was fresh and tasty. We did not expect such tasty food at a busy ski resort, but goosefeathers pub exceeded our expectations. We would strongly recommend you dine in this place when you come for skiing. The service was a bit slow, but worked for us as we could sit down, rest, and relax while waiting for our food. If you are in a hurry, it may not be your best choice. Also, we would recommend to make reservations ahead of time because it could be very crowded during peak season. Our only complain is that WiFi did not work. we could not get any cellular signal inside the restaurant either. We basically had to step out of the restaurant and make phone calls or sending text messages, which made communications with our ski companions a bit challenging.
