Was Rudy Hangru at Ruby May's a mag?
This restaurant is truly exceptional and stands out from the typical cafes in the north woods. The presentation, flavor, service, charming ambiance, food quality, and cleanliness far exceed that of most places I’ve visited in the area. Ruby May’s is truly a hidden treasure! View all feedback.

My family and I have been coming to Ruby May’s consistently since it opened a number of years ago. Although we have a place on Post Lake we are from Southern California. Not only is this restaurant an extremely valuable asset to the area we now hear they are considering other locations. We wish them nothing but the very best with their next step. If the food, the oh so friendly service and the compelling ambiance are anything like the original I’m certain it will be a fantastic success. Thank you Ruby May family for the exceptional experience you delivery every day.
Awesome cafe!!!Service was attentive and friendly, food was delicious. Nice quiet atmosphere, with a relaxing backwoods feel. My wife and I stopped for lunch and really enjoyed our experience.
Always a must to come here while we are at the cabin... Parking: Lot is not enormous...but approximately 30 parking spots Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get into restaurant and restaurant is very open concept
When ever I'm up north, this is where we stop. Can't ask for a better breakfast. Generous portions.Ruby is great
We were told to check this place out last weekend. We did and all I can say is everything was top notch, the service, the food, the cleanliness and atmosphere. The back ground music was 70's rock which was perfect for the clientele at the time. From the time we ordered it took less than 10 minutes to be served. And the food wasn't just warm, it was hot! We both left Satisfied and will be back. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid food items are available. Parking: There was ample parking.
