However, on my most rec... read more I visit this restaurant frequently and usually have a great experience. I'm giving it one star solely because the sandwich is delicious. However, on my most recent visit, Frank took my order incorrectly, even though I repeated it multiple times. This would have been understandable if he hadn't been so unfriendly when making the correction. Sadly, I won't be returning to this restaurant, which is quite disappointing.

It felt like a rite of passage to get permission to walk from Clearwater Swim Club to enjoy Sloppy Joe's and some candy during the summer. Recently, we brought the next generation of our family, along with our in-laws, to dine here three times during their four-day visit, and the experience was fantastic! Although some reviews mention that the staff can come off as gruff, I see it as part of the charm and the Jersey way of handling hungry customers. Just share a smile, and they'll appreciate your kindness. This restaurant has been faithfully serving customers since 1958, which is truly commendable. And of course, I couldn't resist getting the t-shirt!
