Although the restaurant wasn't crowded, the inept waitstaff managed to mishandle just three tables of customers. Our waitress came to our table only three times after long stretches of her disappearing to the back. Dishes were served incomplete, drinks went unrefilled, and an elderly couple who could hardly walk had to find their own seats after waiting 10 minutes for someone to assist them. Overall, it's surprising that this Applebee's is still able to generate enough revenue to remain open.
I had the worst dining experience ever. It took an unusually long time for us to be seated, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. There were plenty of staff members around. When the food finally arrived, it was served cold, and the drinks were watered down because the waitress let them sit for too long. Additionally, the floor was sticky and unclean. Overall, I will definitely not be returning.
The waitstaff were very kind and attentive when I placed my pickup order. Unfortunately, when I received the food, it was quite cold, as if it had been sitting in the fridge and was only assembled at the last minute. The rice in both my chicken and shrimp bowls was hard. I returned the shrimp bowl since I had already eaten the chicken one, and while they did replace it with a hot one, the rice was still watery. Proceed with caution.
I took some of my family to this Applebee's location on Saturday evening, September 3rd. First of all the dinner was great. I had chicken strips with honey mustard and fries. I can't remember what my daughter, sister, and mother ordered. Madison wastraining Chloe, a new waitress. In the beginning, Madison was very nice but as we continued dining she became cold. My sisterdidn't help matters by complaining about how cold it was in the restaurant and then mentioned that she probably can't haveanything substitutions on her dinner choice. By the end of our dinner, Madison handed us our check out receipts without askingif we wanted to order dessert. We felt like she was rushing us out of the restaurant. I gave a 25% tip and I mentioned the bigtip and she never said thank you. I don't know if my sister's opinion about the air conditioning ???? and substitutions changedher attitude or was it the fact that she had to be in a position to train a new employee. The restaurant wasn't very busy, probably 20% capacity. I called the restaurant Tuesday, the day after Labor day, to address this with a manager by the name ofEric. If I go back and Madison waits on us, I will request another waitress. She needs training on how to deal with the public.???? In the meantime, I will have a talk with my sister because waitresses can't control the air conditioning and her etiquettewas inexcusable. Oh and I failed to mention that our drinks were served in plastic cups with a lid and straw. This is not myidea of a pleasant ???? dining experience. Would have preferred glass or goblet for my alcoholic beverages.
Went here with a friend around 5:10. Shift change, I get it. The hostess was okay, friendly enough, and sat us telling us she would have to get us silver ware. Okay. About 10 minutes go by, there are 3 employees by the bar and I've made eye contact withevery one of them. Another table comes in gets seated 5 tables away from, they wait about 5 minutes and get greeted by one ofthe servers that was by the bar. Finally the hostess walks by, I ask her if there's a server in the section, she apologizes andtells us she just told a server we were here. After about 3 more minutes, another guy from the bar starts walking almostcomically slow to us, we finally decided to leave (thinking if this was the pace we wouldn't eat before close). We've bothbeen in the industry for 10+ years, so we get it stuff happens, but that was absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself time and go toChili's.
