Ye Ole Fashioned - Summerville

I work in Summerville so I have plenty of opportunities to eat out in the area. Without a doubt, this is my favorite place to get a big, juicy, vegan burger! They have a ton of vegan sides (buffalo cauliflower bites — YUM! and they have everything listed out on a separate menu which is super convenient. You can get your burger veg with regular mayo cheese or they can make it vegan. Cute old timey diner vibe on the inside with checkered flooring and arcade games. Lots of wonderful ice cream sorbet options to boot! Highly recommend!

The menu clearly indicates which items are vegan. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about all things vegan. My children thoroughly enjoyed the vegan ice cream. There is a separate fryer dedicated solely to vegan dishes. The restaurant is adorably decorated.

I really enjoyed the vegan chocolate chunk milkshake, it was exactly what I was in the mood for. The chocolate flavor was very rich, and even the small size was quite filling. I also ordered the vegan chef salad and a side of vegan chicken tenders to go, both of which were delicious. I appreciated that they offered Follow Your Heart ranch dressing, and they were generous with the amount they gave me. Other vegan dressing options included honey mustard and thousand island. The staff were friendly and helpful as I made my decision. The restaurant was bustling and had a lively atmosphere. I would definitely come back for a quick takeout meal.
