We've been here for years, but the newer crew and the manager Troy really made it a much better experience. First, he's a really cool and personal guy, we enjoyed meeting him. Secondly, one of the reasons why we stopped going, the old cold was constantly cool to mildly warm foods, tonight it was hot as it should be. What Kris Rohan doesn't like about Perkins Restaurant & Bakery:
Stood for 15-20 minutes holding an 11 month old and could not get seated. No greeting no employees. No line of people waiting outside that might have been there before me. The restaurant was busy but maybe 50-60% capacity. There were people being seated that came in after me. There was a table of 4 older people had been aware. We love this place! brandon is simply phenomenal, he is a large server, always takes care of his tables and customers, and he is on his game! Eating is always great and he ensures that customers are satisfied, offers excellent service and recommended! their muffins are fluffy and damp, and cookies are slightly chewy. we always want to get a cake/cake, but always too full of all delicious food!
Great service and good food. the workers here are always happy. more busy place. I like the 55 menu and that they have truthahnwurst.
2nd time eating at a Perkins, first time was in Florida. Another fantastic breakfast. Great selections on the menu and outstanding wait staff.
I took a party of 6 out for a birthday dinner. We could all agree on going there because of menu selections that everyone could find something good on the menu to choose from. Place was clean an neat. Was not busy at all inside. Tables mostly empty and service was about a 3 star cause almost nonexistent. Ordered at 6pm and food arrived at 7pm cold. No excuse for all 6 dinners to be cold. We was all starting to be unhappy at the 45 minute mark and wondering why we all agreed on this place. Not one person at the table could believe how the food was delivered. How can a place mess up all 6 dinners? Cold means they was left on the counter and neglected. My bill was 107 dollars so I expected a little more courtesy. To many other places willing to take your money that can provide service and execution. I had tried this place when it opened at least 15 yrs earlier and got cold food and said I would never return. Guess now I know nothing has changed. I was fooled on all the great reviews. Maybe I'm just unlucky at this place.
We got to the restaurant at 6:00, didn’t get anyone to take our drink order until 6:17. I was ready to leave, but got outnumbered since there were 4 of us. We ordered our dinner when the waitress took our drink order. It took 45 minutes to get our food. There were people that came in after us, ate their food, and left before we got ours. The food was good, but with that service, it will be quite a while before we try them again.
