Waffle House - Summerville

Unfortunately, the uneducated server at this restaurant told me that I had to dine in to order food to go. I placed my order, ate my waffle, and then asked for a to-go container for my remaining food. However, I was refused by the server who said that to-go containers were only for dine-in customers. This rule does not make sense to me at all! As a result of this experience, I will no longer be spending my money at this establishment.

The manager seated us at a dirty table, which we ended up cleaning ourselves while he watched, and then he sat down to order his own breakfast. The server ignored us for over ten minutes, prioritizing customers who arrived after us. When we decided to leave due to the lack of service, she did not apologize. The staff was rude and the restaurant was dirty. It seemed like the only ones actually working were the cooks. It's disappointing to see that my neighborhood Waffle House has gone downhill.

Most servers have all their teeth. Caleb is the only cook who prepares my eggs exactly the way I like them. The service can be a bit slow when they are caught in between shifts, but overall I would recommend this restaurant.

I came to this restaurant on a special day at 12:30 p.m. The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful and extremely friendly. Our waitress was amazing, although we didn't catch her name, she was wearing a US headband. Everyone had a great time and it seems like a great place to work. This is definitely my new go-to spot for dining. I haven't been to a restaurant with such friendly staff in a long time. Everyone here deserves a raise!

I definitely would not recommend visiting this restaurant! The staff informed us that they were on break and asked us to leave, even though it was during regular business hours. We have not returned since that incident.
