Oscars Of Summerville
Oscars Of Summerville
Description
Nestled in a charming locale, the restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating. While the service has consistently received high praise, with attentive servers enhancing the dining experience, the quality of the food has drawn mixed reviews. Dishes range from commendable selections like creamy French onion soup and crispy fried mushrooms to disappointing items lacking flavor, prompting some diners to leave meals largely untouched. Despite the elegant setting and reasonable prices, diners are left questioning the value, especially after underwhelming experiences. Overall, the restaurant shows potential but needs to refine its culinary offerings to fully satisfy patrons.

Absolutely amazing! As always! The prime rib is consistently outstanding. The service is excellent!! It never fails to impress!!
Fantastic! The food was really great and the server was very friendly and helpful when our party had questions about the menu. The only reason I am putting four start instead of five is because we had to wait at the bar until our table was ready, which was fine as we didn't have a reservation but the barmaid was a bit sour and cold which was very off putting. But I definitely recommend giving this place a visit for the fantastic food!
For our appetizer, we tried the tempura Brussels sprouts. It was my first experience with this dish; while it's not my favorite style, it was still enjoyable. I ordered the seafood burrito, and it was fantastic! Each bite prompted a "mmm!" and a little shimmy, haha! My husband chose the salmon and shrimp pasta, and he particularly loved the shrimp. I tasted it, and it was quite good! Overall, we had a great time. Inside, it was a bit difficult to hear the music, but there were sports playing on the TVs and everyone seemed happy. Next time, I'll definitely save room for dessert!
Stopped by Oscar's for my birthday lunch. And loved everything about the establishment! It was early, so I was able to get a seat pretty easily. The inside was beautiful, but chose to sit outside because it was a lovely day. The hostess was very gracious and when I came back to ask where the bathroom was, she personally escorted me there. Our lunch was amazing and they have, great brunch mimosa and **** Mary specials. The food was tasty but the bananas foster was out of this world!! At the conclusion of the meal, they gave me a little chocolate and a happy birthday card, super classy. Highly recommend for just an amazing quality place to eat.
Give Oscar's a try. I went for dinner with 2 friends, and we immediately liked the quiet upscale ambiance as we were shown to our table. The service was among the best I've experienced in the area; cordial, professional, and observant. We had appetizers, entrees, and dessert on our relaxed pace, each course arriving just when we were ready, not too soon or late. Drinks and water glasses were attended to just as we finished, without undo interruption. The food was good; I wish it had been great. Our Crawfish bites with remoulade was a tasty appetizer. My Caesar salad was good. Surprisingly, my ribeye steak was a bit tougher than I've had at good chop houses. For dessert we shared a special homemade raspberry whipped cheesecake that was a nice finish and complement to our black coffees. We were certainly satiated, I wish we more fully satisfied with Oscar's offerings.
