Menu

The restaurant from Summerville offers 107 different dishes and drinks on the menu at an average price of $7.9.

Nestled in a charming locale, the restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating. While the service has consistently received high praise, with attentive servers enhancing the dining experience, the quality of the food has drawn mixed reviews. Dishes range from commendable selections like creamy French onion soup and crispy fried mushrooms to disappointing items lacking flavor, prompting some diners to leave meals largely untouched. Despite the elegant setting and reasonable prices, diners are left questioning the value, especially after underwhelming experiences. Overall, the restaurant shows potential but needs to refine its culinary offerings to fully satisfy patrons.

We had an excellent dining experience. Our waitress, Mikala, was outstanding. The loaded potato soup was delicious, and the crab soup was hearty, filled with plenty of crab meat. I tried the burrito, which had a nice spicy kick, and the seafood special consisted of shrimp, scallops, and crab in a creamy sauce served over linguini. Everything was fantastic! View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Oscars Of Summerville:
So, not many photos on this trip. But we ordered the steak, the Seafood Pasta, the seafood burrito. She crab soup. The filet salad. Shrimp dinner. I'll say, Oscar's is normally a go to for me. But this has been my second visit that my meals have been delivered to our table lukewarm. The only meal that was hot was the seafood burrito. And I must say it's definitely worth a try. Will I go back? Yes. Because it's not th... View all feedback.

This is my second visit to this restaurant, and I have to say my first experience was definitely better. During my second visit, my food arrived lukewarm. The fries weren't as fresh as I'd hoped, and the buttermilk crispy chicken was just okay. However, a friend of mine ordered the shrimp and grits, and she enjoyed it. I also ordered the crème brûlée, but I would have preferred it warm instead of cold. On a positive note, the service was good, and the staff were very friendly.

I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. The food was worth every penny. It truly reminded me of the charming diners depicted in movies from the 1940s. You can't go wrong with Oscar's in Summerville. The service was exceptional.

We hoped to enjoy this place last year, but unfortunately, it didn't impress us at all. The steaks were of low quality, the dishes felt cheap, the service was lackluster, and everything was overpriced. Perhaps things have improved since then, but our experience was so disappointing that we decided not to return.

Fantastic! The food was really great and the server was very friendly and helpful when our party had questions about the menu. The only reason I am putting four start instead of five is because we had to wait at the bar until our table was ready, which was fine as we didn't have a reservation but the barmaid was a bit sour and cold which was very off putting. But I definitely recommend giving this place a visit for the fantastic food!

I started with a sangria, but it was far from what I expected—it tasted more like a mixed fruity drink with a lot of fizz, resembling a soda, and was served in a regular glass. That’s the only thing I wouldn’t order again. For our main courses, I had the crab cakes, which were loaded with crab and delicious. However, my only complaint was that the sides were quite small compared to those served with other meals. My mom’s scallops came with generous portions of mashed potatoes and vegetables, while my meal featured only a small amount of spinach and creamed cauliflower for presentation. I would have appreciated equal-sized portions of veggies since I really enjoyed the spinach. Another concern was the credit card processing fee, which we only discovered when we received the bill. If you plan to pay with a credit card, be prepared for this significant extra charge. Since I was covering the entire group, I didn’t have hundreds of dollars in cash on me. It’s a bit disappointing to encounter such a charge at a nice restaurant, especially when spending a considerable amount, which I haven’t experienced at other upscale places. Overall, I would recommend Oscar's, but I can't quite give it a full five-star rating due to the areas that could use improvement in order to compete with other fine dining establishments.
