This is my second visit to this restaurant, and I have to say my first experience was definitely better. During my second visit, my food arrived lukewarm. The fries weren't as fresh as I'd hoped, and the buttermilk crispy chicken was just okay. However, a friend of mine ordered the shrimp and grits, and she enjoyed it. I also ordered the crème brûlée, but I would have preferred it warm instead of cold. On a positive note, the service was good, and the staff were very friendly.
I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. The food was worth every penny. It truly reminded me of the charming diners depicted in movies from the 1940s. You can't go wrong with Oscar's in Summerville. The service was exceptional.
