Compared to other Island locations like Ch... read more If you never visited a KFC other than the one in Summerside, you'd never know how much better it's SUPPOSED to taste. Compared to other Island locations like Charlottetown and Bloomfield, KFC Summerside has very poor preparation. Chicken is always tasteless, oily, and rubbery. Original recipe strips are always cooked wrong, fries are usually okay, but gravy is ALWAYS too watery. Orders are messed up sometimes, but the response protocol to a bad order is always excellent and they always provide a satisfying resolution for the customer. Staff is good, no bad experiences with them, but the management needs to do a SERIOUS overhaul of the food preparation, it's not up to KFC standards!

Don't know what their recipe is now but it sure isn't the original recipe they use to have. When I want chicken now I go to Mary Brown's in Charlottetown it is so much better now than KFC and worth the extra trouble I take to drive all the way to Charlottetown to get it.

I will not be returning until the restaurant is cleaned properly.
