The seafood chowder and Cajun blackened fish are standout dishes. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, making it a safe choice for those with dietary restrictions. The restaurant is busy but worth the wait. A reservation is recommended to guarantee a pleasant dining experience in this charming hidden gem.
The reservation took place so fast, despite the long line at the door. ordered steak, bbq rib and seafood penne, did not need to wait long, and eating was pleasant, if not surprisingly good. over all a pleasant place.
No unforgettable experience. the sitting was tight, which made it crowded and loud. but the worst part was the derée. we ordered the speck wrapped chicken with austerity and brie with beet and carrots on the side. when we got it, it looked like the cook threw the hull, the raves and carrots on the naked dish. the chicken was overcooked and dry, the brie was nowhere to find, the carrots were overcooked and the beet had little taste.
Sent for the lobster as advertised. no lobster, man populated fish and chips. what he said was very good. I ordered the sirloin steak with mushrooms and swirl. was presented with a very thin steak and mushroom and swirl so watery that the steak in it floats. very inconspicuous to see and moderate in taste. waitress was wonderful. not too impressed, but maybe just a bad night.

So after decades of visiting the island and so many poor food experiences we have found a solid place the whole family can enjoy for a super reasonable price. Not a “tourist trap” with prices and the portions are huge. I had the chicken parm burger with house chips that was giant, partner had the fish which was 2 large pieces in an air batter and home made tartar sauce, 10 year old has chicken fingers that are clearly hand made in house and mashed potatoes with gravy. I should mention they have a large establishment that includes a bar area with an extensive drink menu too. We all had a drinks and even shared a large piece of cheese cake for $71 !! The waitress was very warm and provided great service while the kitchen was pumping out the food hot and fresh so fast I was shocked. There are SO many places on the island with terrible frozen mass produced food for a ridiculous inflated price (anything on the boardwalk or gateway village etc). I wish j I had pictures but trust me, I am impressed and no buyers remorse haha
