Reez's Smoked Meat Diner - Summerland

Loved the sandwiches, friendly service. Price points might be a bit high relatively speaking. Poutine was ok, better then the fast food chains but something was a bit off. Packaged gravy or mozzarella instead of curds? Maybe I am wrong but I can say I would just go for the sandwich next time around.

Even though I had seen some negative reviews, I still decided to give the poutine at Rex's a try. I have had poutine in Quebec City before, so I had high expectations. The fries were good, but I was disappointed to find that the cheese curds were likely just chunks of mozzarella. The gravy had a pale color and tasted more like canned beef gravy, with a slight peppery kick. The small portion size was served in a soup bowl. I think next time I visit, I might try the smoked meat poutine or the Reuben instead. The restaurant has a nice little patio, but I would recommend skipping the poutine.

Just had the best Reuben sandwich and fries on a cute little patio in downtown Summerland. This place is only open from 11 am until 3 pm so plan accordingly if you want to try it.

The Smoked Meat Sandwiches at this restaurant are top-notch, rivaling those in Montreal. We absolutely adore them and frequently come here to satisfy our cravings. In addition to the sandwiches, they also offer delicious fries and soups.

Great spot to grab a traditional Smoked Meat Sandwich....I had the Reuben and husband had Smoked Meat....Traditionally made and absolutely delicious...
