The kitchen convinces me little, one of the cooks has made experiences with the chef Niko Romito, that in Abruzzo is an institution, and as already observed elsewhere there are these gourmet ties that a palate not refined hard to appreciate. An opening with a cheese cannolo on a simil sauce too cold vignarola or saffron tortelli that colors a bit the dish and licorice that you do not feel are not convincing proposals for those looking for a typical cuisine. What I liked most is the Pecorino 2022 of the hills fishing La Valentina (4€ the glass, cheap then the contours to 3€ (which I don't know why but are not even inserted in the menu card . A little anonymous service but I was offered at the cashier a good homemade gentian. Average count.

Even supplied a delicious impromptu birthday cake for my son! Lovely presentation, setting is breathtaking with gorgeous mountainous views. Highly recommend and great service.

It is attr... read more This restaurant is off to to left, outside Sulmona, on the way up to Pacentro. It is not the easiest place to find but Is, nevertheless, recommended. It is attractively sited with lovely outside tables and the inside rooms are characterful with an historic well as a central feature. The service is good. You are unlikely to be disappointed by the food. They, also, do pizzas but better pizzas can be found elsewhere. It is not expensive and well worth the short journey from Sulmona or Pacentro.

The decor is lovely inside, and there are some fantastic views outside. There is also a lawn you can sit on and an outside eating area. Highly recommended.
