The staff were very friendly and the decor was beautiful. However, I found the food to be lacking. It seemed like they focused more on the restaurant's appearance than on serving quality dishes.
Great and clean restaurant with friendly staff and truck friendly. Plenty of parking. Lunch starts at 11:00am. I rate this restaurant 4 out of 5 stars solely because of the limited menu items available to truck drivers that drive all night and really don’t want breakfast at the end of their shift. Otherwise a great restaurant and well worth the visit.
Our first visit was an hour before closing on a day with bad weather; we had the restaurant to ourselves. The staff were friendly and fast. The salad bar was very well stocked with all of the classic favorites. The buffet was stuffed with fresh catfish, roast beef, pork loin, and all of the country style sides that would go with it. Good food, good staff, would be glad to go back again...
I ordered a catfish dinner (with mashed potatoes and fries) and a 1/4 chicken dinner (with mashed potatoes and corn) for myself and my boyfriend for dinner this evening (take out). This was by far the worst food that we’ve eaten in the area. The catfish nor chicken had any flavor, mashed potatoes seemed to be box potatoes with also no flavor (if they were homemade potatoes that’s a real shame because you wouldn’t know it) and had no flavor, and my fries were under done with no flavor. This was our first experience with this restaurant and will certainly be the last.
