Another Coffee Day branch in Sullia is perfect for a relaxing coffee break. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with plenty of seating and parking available.
We tried their Seasons Treatings Inverted Jaggery Cappuccino along with some Masala Twist Banana Chips.
We were driving down to bekal, kerala from Bengaluru.... the drive is beautiful... with nature all around.. scenic and green!! From Bengaluru to Kushalnagar and then Madikeri is smooth as butter... you would find a lot of cafe and decent stop overs to refresh yourself during the 7 -8 hrs drive... however, be prepared to have a non stop drive after that...as you would find nothing on the way (ofcourse the small layovers for coconut water are there in plenty). But if cafe county was your last stop on this route... then cafe coffee day sullia, is the water in desert.... a big Saviour... as for the quality... it is as good as any other CCD. Good staff, good food and great coffee...
Coffee and food is standard as per CCD, what is different here is its location. From the parking one can see the hills in the background. And if it is raining one can enjoy coffee at the tables set outside under the cover
If you have been to Sullia or traveled to Mangaluru, then surely you would have passed or visited Cafe Coffee Day.My hubby normally stops here for breakfast on his trips to Bengaluru. However, this time, our destination was Vythiri and we decided to stop here for Breakfast on September 4th and for a quick Coffee break on September 7th.First and foremost, you will never have to worry about parking as the size of the parking lot is massive. After reaching the steps, I could see a few tables and chairs near set up outside in case you don't want to sit in the AC.We however, chose to sit inside and that too at a long picnic table which is something I am seeing for the first time at any CCD outlet.I think about 20 plus people can sit at one of these tables. Am sure kids will really love it too.We went to place our order and I could see the display was filled with sandwiches, pastries, samosas, etc.My hubby ordered for an Egg Wrap and a Cappuccino. He actually wanted to order a Hot Chocolate, but they told us that it was not available. Surprised to hear this especially bright and early in the morning! The Egg Wrap was filled with green chillies and egg burji. The cappuccino was piping hot and tasted extra sweet after adding a few packets of sugar. This CCD outlet had a very unique ambiance and the furniture was extremely cute. As usual, the TV was on and the music was on full blast that you could not hear the person who you were sitting with. Now, I know one of the things which everyone has on their mind while traveling by road is where to find a clean bathroom. Do not worry, because this place has a very clean, well maintained and spacious bathroom. There is only one for both men and women, but that's better than nothing right? So the next time you are traveling on this route, drop in for a coffee, a sandwich, cookies, or whatever your taste buds are craving for.I can guarantee you will really like it.Food: 4/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5
