Saravanaa Bhavan - Sugar Land

After our first visit. Same quality and the food experience is great!! This time we had Gun Powder Masala Dosa and special lunch Thali!!

For the wife's birthday dinner, she wanted some satvikes vegetarian food. The food was very healthy, light and tasty. Would definitely recommend someone for authentic South Indian food.

This assessment is based exclusively on my experience and my personal opinion. We went to Saravanaa Bhanan in Sugar Land, Texas on Monday, 10/25/21. This was our second time at this point and I had never taken the time to actually check this restaurant. Absolutely a MUST if you love Indian food! FOOD: The food always tastes the same! a lil can be more sharp or a lil less sharp, but regardless of food tastes amazing. You make managers, chefs and waiter rotation so you can experience a different service, but the food will taste ALWAYS equal! Traditional SOUTH from India cousin, I can guarantee! most of the times we get the special meal and it is only for to die! there are 10 different samples of their cusine and they all have a different taste. They do Southern India Traditional cuisine and they use many fresh spices. My favorite meal is the special meal you can see on my photos, there is a chance to have a great meal, fill yourself with great food and give the chance to discover new flavors and new flavor combinations that you would never have thought possible. Their cuisine and aromas are pure magic!!! RESTROOM: beautiful and clean. STAFF: You always have a manager, one or two waiters and few busboys. They were all very nice to us, check now and then if the good was good or not and if there were anything else, we would like to try or eat. CLEANLINESS: The place was clean, no dirty tables, no dirty chairs or benches. The floor was immaculate. The glass of the windows is always very clean, something you will actually enjoy. Good job! PLACE: It is a very nice restaurant with many large windows that allow you to see outside and enjoy the view. There are many tables and comfortable sofa/books that you can choose... they have boots for couples of larger tables for families and friends. they have an aquarium kitchen so that you can see inside and watch how they cook your meal (if you are interested). PREIS: I think their prices are only average and the special meal is cheap. a very fulfilling, satisfying and amazing meal for only $13. CONCLUSIONS: We will definitely go back there, especially when we pass or stop by Sugar Land Tx. If you go, don't try your signature drinks: the HOT CHAI, HOT COFFEE or the sweet MANGO LASSEE... just thank you!

Good place for Indian snacks. You have a variety of Dosas choice paralysis. The service was okay. For a service give place, the servers should have a friendly smile and not always look so tired that need a certain improvement. ToGo order of rava masala dosa was grounded, the packer had the masala in the dosa 100% restaurants that we ordered Togo will wrap them separately to prevent the dosa soggy. He had the opportunity to immerse himself. Choke-Bhature is great. Total good place and delicious food.

I’ve been to sarvanaa bhavan many times with my parents and it is very consistent. The Palak paneer and kadai paneers are very tasty. Palak paneer is mild but flavorful. Kadai paneer is on the spicier side, but delicious. I haven’t tried the dosa personally, but my mom gets them every time and we always pick this place to go out for Indian food so it must be good. Only criticism I have is the naan can be quite dense, but otherwise excellent food.
