Anybody who has been to Popeyes before knows what to expect from Popeyes. The food was good, but as with most franchise fast food establishments, the service left something to be desired. The atmosphere at Popeyes hasn't been great in a long time, but it is a fast food establishment, not a dine-in restaurant. View all feedback.
What D S doesn't like about Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen:
At the drive thru started to give my order. Was told to wait a minute. I waited as the person spoke Spanish for quite awhile to another worker. Our order was not correct. There wasn’t any beans in the beans and rice. Had to reorder the drinks The chicken strips were dry. I’m complaining this time because it’s not the first time they messed up, but it is the last time for me. View all feedback.
Each time I visit this location (which is frequently), I leave feeling very upset and under valued. The food is okay, but the customer service is trash! I believe that asking for what I want on my order is acceptable, especially considering the fact that I am spending my hard earned money on the items being bought. Apparently asking for less thighs on my order is a problem. I don’t understand why I have to pay extra for less thighs on my orders. This is the only location that has been problematic in terms of giving me what I ask for. On a separate occasion, I placed an online order at this location and went to pick it up shortly afterwards, however, upon arriving the doors were locked and I was told to come back in thirty minutes to pick up my order because they were having issues with the police. So, I decided to pick up my other food items from nearby just to pass time. After, giving them at least an hour to get my food ready, I returned to Popeyes only to find out that my order still wasn’t ready! So they prepared my order and I proceeded to my car to check it and make sure it was right. Luckily, I did because I was missing several pieces of chicken from my order. I immediately took the order back inside and explained to the manager what was wrong with my order. So, by then I was upset because at this point, I waited over and hour to get my food and then the order was still incorrect, so I asked that they comp my order. The manager said NO and offered me a drink!! I was shocked by what happened next! The worker open the box of chicken and preceded to throw out a piece of my chicken (a thigh) into the trash, so asked her why did she do that and she replied you don’t want thighs right! At that point, I was like you don’t want to comp my order or give me extra chicken for waiting but yet you throw perfectly fine chicken in the trash!! So, then she finally puts my missing chicken back in my box and says I don’t know what you want me to do!! After that, I left and since then I have been going to other locations where I am valued as a person and as a customer!

I normally would give Popeyes 5 stars but today I tried the wings, the honey bbq and it's a NO for me.

The food was fresh and hot and they even included. Honey, thank you very much.
